Here are some of the photos of the choir, on the day of N.S.W. Primary Schools’ choral concert.

In the first week of school, this year, we found out that we had been accepted, to perform, at the Opera House.
All children from Years 3 to 6, were invited to audition for the school choir – 36 were chosen and we began to learn the repetoire.
In April, 20 children from this choir were selected, to form our Opera House choir. They were chosen, not only for their voices, but also for their commitment and enthusiasm.
They gave up their lunchtimes, once a week, to practise their parts and then sing them in harmony. This was a wonderful learning experience, as they learnt to sing the syncopated rhythms of Bare Necessities, build up to a dramatic crescendo in Adiemus and convey the emotion and pathos of songs such as Homeward Bound and Feed The Birds. On the night of the concert, they performed 11 songs, ranging from the relatively simple, Patch Of Heaven, to the highly demanding Mozart Alleluia Canon.
The day was very exciting – rehearsal all afternoon, dinner at City Extra and then the evening performance - which was FANTASTIC!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS CHOIR – YOU ARE LEGENDS!!!!!!!!!
